Parallel Radio Interview :
Can you tell us a bit about you?
I am a former nurse turned certified personal trainer, wife, and mommy to 2 beautiful kiddos. I own Diary of a Fit Mommy LLC and cater to helping women to achieve their best bodies every single day!
How would you describe yourself?
I would say I am an introvert at heart, but being in the social media world has helped to release me from my shell. I love cooking, dancing hip hop, and taking care of my little family while kicking ass in the fitness industry.
What other career could we imagine for you?
If I were not a personal trainer and social media influencer, I would still be a nurse. However, I have always wanted to own my own bakery! A girl can dream right?
What Music means to you?
Music is everything-it literally soothes the soul. It can take a crummy day and transform your entire mood for the better. Listening to music is a great escape for me.
Favorite project you worked on?
I am currently working on developing my new fitness app! Though it is my favorite, it is quite tedious!
Your worst nightmare? Most beautiful dream?
My worst nightmare would be losing my family. They are the foundation to my business and why I am so successful. I would not be a “fit mommy” without my children. My husband was also the one who allowed me to quit nursing to stay home and pursue my career as a personal trainer. They are my rock! My beautiful dream would be to see my kids growing up, not successful, but happy. Success is marvelous, but even the most successful people can still be miserable, too. I want to guide them into creating a life of their own and not just what I want for them.
Currently in the middle of launching a new site, an app, and a clothing line!
…What were you doing Saturday night?
I was at a play-The Little Mermaid-with my family. It was from 7:30-9:30 which was wayyy after all of our bedtimes, but we had a blast!
What do you have in your pockets right now?
Not a thing-I am wearing Lululemon shorts with no pockets.
…A last word in french for our french readers?
“Qui vivra verra”.
